Long ago, a traveling scholar saved a nest of magpies from a serpent’s jaws. Overcome with gratitude, the mother magpie swore fealty to the scholar and his descendants for all eternity. Nowadays, Baek Dohan thinks the stories his grandfather used to tell him are just that – stories. Rather than thinking about it, he focuses on his career…and his disastrous love life.
